Émilie is responsible for working with Government, policy makers and third parties to create a positive case for change, and a favourable environment for ridesharing and other innovations in mobility. Before joining Uber, Émilie served as Vice President, Public Affairs and Stakeholder Relations at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce- Canada’s most influential business association and acted as Canada’s Sherpa to the B20 - the Business group affiliated to the G20 and G7 processes. Prior to that, she served as Chief of staff to various ministers in the Canadian Government and held a number of positions in the private sector with companies such as Bombardier and CAE. Emilie began her career as a Foreign Service Officer where she worked on G8 Summits and in the Africa division. She holds an MBA in International Management from HEC Montréal.

Sally Osborne, The Peninsula Hotels
Sally Osborne is the Director, Technology Innovation at The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels Limited (HSH). HSH is the owner and operator of The Peninsula Hotels, as well as a number of strategic real estate and tourism assets including The Repulse Bay, The Peak Tower and The Peak Tram, one of Hong Kong's most popular tourism attractions. At HSH, Sally leads the Technology Steering Committee, which is jointly chaired by CEO Clement Kwok and Group General Manager IT Shane Izaks, and has the objective of delivering the group's five-year ambition for digital transformation. In this role, Sally has also devised and championed “Kaleidoscope, The Peninsula Labs” start-up programme in conjunction with Stanford Research International, to define what’s next in tech for luxury hotels, which launched in 2018 with its innovation lab home in Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong. Prior to her current role at HSH, Sally was the founder of her own luxury hotel consulting firm specialising in digital Innovation. Throughout this journey, Sally held various high level positions for luxury hotel groups including 5 Star - Rocco Forte Hotels and London’s luxury Maybourne Hotels (owner of Claridge’s, the Connaught and the Berkeley) Sally was a pioneer at the start of the online travel agency (OTA) era - launching the European website for Wotif.com, following the huge success of the Australian introduction, and the site was sold to Expedia at a market value in excess of US$756 million in 2014. A speaker and former lecturer, Sally has also won various awards recognising her digital expertise in the industry, including Travolution and W3 Design Awards.
Lu Li, Indiegogo
Lu is the General Manager of Global Strategy at Indiegogo, a global crowdfunding platform that helps creators bring their ideas to life and reach their first customers. Since joining Indiegogo, Lu has built a dedicated team (in both San Francisco and Shenzhen) to help creators from Greater China bring their products to a wider, global audience. Her team has helped Chinese creators raised over $150MM on Indiegogo.
Before joining Indiegogo, Lu worked extensively in digital marketing and broadcast media. She was also an English lecturer at New Oriental Academy in China with hundreds of students across the country.
Lu received her B.S. in Media, Culture, Communications from NYU and M.A. in East Asian Studies in Psychology & Marketing from Stanford University, where she did extensive research on how consumers react to advertising emotional appeal differently across cultures.
